Where Have All The Butterflies Gone? - Butterfly, Butterflies Poems and Quote

When I was a child, I use to see beautiful butterflies everywhere. I remember watching so many butterflies fluttering their wings against the wind, or perched on top of the beautiful flowers. I faintly recall how I’d quietly walk up towards them and gently grabbing one butterfly by its wings with the tips of my fingers to closely study the lovely colorful pattern of its soft and lovely wings. I remember closing my eyes and making a wish, then letting the butterfly fly away to return once again with the rest of the butterflies.

Now that I am grown, I rarely see the butterflies anymore. Where have all the butterflies gone? Will I never again see a butterfly spread its wings, or watch them pollinating a flower? Please, someone tell me, where have all the beautiful butterflies gone?

Beautiful and graceful,
varied and enchanting,
small but approachable,
butterflies lead you
to the sunny side of life.
And everyone deserves
a little sunshine.
