These pictures are of Porky the Hedgehog. Before I got Porky, I never knew hedgehogs existed, and assumed a hedgehog was a hog! Duh!
On a cold winter day, I decided to go to the swap. As I walked along, I saw this little creature in a big glass container, terrified because some kids were poking there fingers at him. I asked the lady what it was, and she told me it was a hedgehog. I told her that the little hedgehog was seemed to be terrified of those kids poking their finger at him, and I felt it was too cold to have him outside as she did. She didn't seem to care, so I asked her how much she was selling him for. She apparently owned a pet shop. I ended up buying him, only because I felt he was in danger. Little did I realize I'd grow to love Porky like crazy!
Hedgehogs eat cat food, fruits and vegetables, nuts, and plenty of fresh water.
I keep Porky the Hedgehog in a large aquarium which I keep lined with pine shavings purchase from the pet store. In the evenings, I take him out for his daily exercise. Hedgehogs are pretty prickly. Some hedgehogs don't care to be held. My hedgehog will let me know when he wants to be left alone, by putting up his prickly spines then rolling up into a little ball!

There are no good-byes for my dog who has died,
and we don't now and never did lie to each other.
So now he's gone and I buried him,
and that's all there is to it.
