Dear Sponsor
Greetings to you. My name is Hatyamba Edith. I live with mom and dad in a house made up of bricks and thatched with grass. I am the only child in my family.
My home is 120 km from choma the nearest town and 420 km from Lusaka the capital city of Zambia.
The land is generally flat and fertile for farming. My father is a peasant farmer he grows sunflowers, ground root and maize our main staple food crop.
The country Zambia has three (3) seasons namely hot, cold and rain. It is cold from April to July and hot from August to October and rains from November to March.
In future I would like to be a nurse.
Thank you for becoming my sponsor. God bless you.
With much love,
Hataymba

Dear Sponsor
Greeting to you. I am doing fine here in Zambia. I am glad to write this letter to you. I am writing to tell you that my mom is drawing good and safe water from borehole sunked by the project. This was done without difficulties because of the money you are sending to me through world vision international.
My family is happy to have a borehole close to our home because the distance have been greatly reduced.
I want to thank you for supporting me through the sponsorship programme. Recently I received the following items from the project. Colgate, tooth brush, drinks, biscuits and new nice dress. These were purchased using the money you are sending to me through world vision. May God be with you.
With much love.

Here is a pic of Edith wearing her brand new dress. In the background, you can now see plants
growing in her yard, thanks to a borehole which was built much closer to her house. Now, she and
her parents don't have to walk many miles to get water from an old and dilapated well.
She and her family can now drink clean and safe water.
