What a tragedy that there was not one customer at Luby's Cafeteria with a registered concealed gun. I know that many of these slaughtered innocent victims would be alive today, had there been just one person with a gun.

An Anniston, Alabama man, Thomas Glenn Terry saved 20 hostages from death in a restaurant from robbers who had earlier murdered a motel clerk. Had Thomas Glenn Terry not been carrying his licensed concealed 45 semi-auto pistol, the 20 hostages might have very well been murdered.

Sharonda McMurray, a deli employee from Norcross, Georgia, was viciously stabbed by an ex-boyfriend. Another customer tried to save Sharonda but was also stabbed to death. Another customer, Myron Petro, who happens to be an NRA member, warned the attacker to drop his knife. The attacker lungged towards Petro to attack him, also. Petro shot and killed the man in self defense.

Carol Ponciano of Oroville, California was savagely beaten by two robbers who had broken into her home. The two thugs then entered her roomate's bedroom and started attacking her, also. Ponciano managed to grab her gun from her bedroom, then shoot and kill one of the attackers. The other one ran away but was later apprehended.

In Hartselle, Alabama., Beth Smith ran after two men who had just broken into her grandmother's house. She fired a warning shot, forcing one of the men to stop. Beth Smith held him there until police arrived.

Ezekial Witherspoon, a Brooklyn, N.Y. man, was asleep in his apartment which was directly above his auto shop, when he heard someone breaking into it. After a confrontation, Whitherspoon had no choice but to kill the intruder.

A Houston, Texas woman had filed a complaint against a former coworker who had been stalking her for six months. One day, as the woman started to get into her car, which was parked in the parking lot of a grocery store, the stalker forced his way into her car and tried to attack her. The woman grabbed her gun and shot him.

Gail Meadows from Miami Florida was on her way home when another car rammed hers. Four men got out of their car and headed towards her to rob her. Meadows alerted neighbors by honking the horn of her car. One of her neighbors saved Gail Meadows life by running towards her car with his shotgun and shooting one of the the men. The other three ran off. What's ironic about Meadows is that she was an anti-gun columnist! That day she realized that gun control kills the innocent.
